A journey from Pakistan’s capital to the awe–inspiring Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges to Northern Pakistan. These mountains are home to a kaleidoscope of people and some of the most incredible scenery in the world. We start the tour in
Islamabad and then fly into explore the Gilgit Baltistan – the northern end of Pakistan.

Day 1 – Arrive Islamabad
Meet at Islamabad airport, pick up and transfer to hotel for a short briefing and rest.

Day 2 Skardu (Baltistan) B/L/D
2nd Oct, 2022
Move to airport early in the morning to catch a scenic flight to Skardu, taking in views of the Hindu Kush and Western Himalayan mountains en route. It takes just an hour to reach the Skardu valley situated at an elevation of nearly 2,500 meters, is the capital
of the Baltistan region. After arrival, we will check into hotel and then go out to explore Skardu via visiting Katchura Lake, also well–known as the Shangir–la, located less than an hour drive from the main bazaar. After that move up to visit another lake with in short drive called Katchura Lake, located in Kachura village above Shangrila lake.Afternoon we will visit Satpara Lake, another beautiful lake located above Skardu.
Note: The flight from Islamabad to the north is weather dependent. If it is cancelled, you will be given an alternative program.
Day 03– Around Skardu B/L/D)
3rd Oct, 2022
Today you will move out of Skardu and drive to Shigar valley – Shigar valley is gateway of many high mountains of the Karakoram and also well known for its organic fruit orchards.
In Shigar valley, we will visit the iconic Shigar fort was built in 17th century by the Raja of the region. After lunch, we will return to Skardu and stop at Sarfrang desert to enjoy the sunset views and spend time for photography.

Day 04– Skardu – Gilgit (B/L/D)
4th Oct, 2022
Today we drive along the narrow gorge of the famous Indus River to Gilgit. The realigned and construction of the road has finally completed last year and the journey down to Gilgit is quite smooth now. It will take approximately 3–4 hours to reach Gilgit –
the capital town of the Gilgit Baltistan region.
In the afternoon you will be taken to the local market of Gilgit to roam around and see the hustle and bustle of the streets,

Day 5– Gilgit – Hunza valley (B/L/D)
Today we travel on the Karakoram Highway to the fabled Hunza Valley, stopping along the way at Nagar valley that includes,
• the Collision point of Continental Plates, the Eurasian and Indian plates
• Silk route pony trail view point.
• Rakaposhi Peak (7788 m), the majestic peak rising above Nanga valley and offers sweeping view from bottom to summit.
On arrival at Hunza, we visit the iconic fort of Hunza valley called Altit Fort, a more than 1100 year old fortress, was once the residence of the king of the Hunza Valley.

Day 6– Attabad Lake – Passu – Gilgit (B/L/D)
Full day exploration in upper region of Hunza valley that includes visiting some wonderful sites as follow,
• Attabad Lake – the long lake was formed in 2010 by a massive landslide at Hunza River.
Hussaini village.
• Borit Lake – located above Passu valley en route to Passu glacier.
• Passu Glacier hike – A short hike for around 20 minutes takes you right next to the massive while Passu glacier.(optional)
• We will arrange the lunch at Glacier breeze restaurant, located above Passu valley and offer magnificent view of Passu cones peaks. Afternoon return to
Hunza for overnight.
Day 7– Hunza–Nagar– Gilgit –Sewing School Minawar (B/L/D)
Morning we move to explore Hoppar village in Nagar valley, lies in the opposite of Hunza River.
Hoppar is famous for traced fields and meeting point of two beautiful Glaciers. We take some time to explore around before return to Gilgit.
In Gilgit we will visit the Sewing school at Minawar Village, where you will be able to spend time with the students and teacher. We will arrange delicious home cooked lunch for everyone.
After Lunch we shall visit the Gilgit Bazaar where you can find many interesting and beautiful gifts for your loved ones. Overnight in Gilglt.
Day 8– Fly back to Islamabad (B/L/D)
*Morning take the flight back to Islamabad and have a tour around the capital city of Pakistan surrounded by beautiful hills, the will include,
• Pakistan Monument at Shakarparian Hills, is a view point of Islamabad and Rawalpindi– the twin cities.
• Faisal Mosque – the iconic symbol of Islamabad and largest mosque of Pakistan.
• Super market in Islamabad, a good place to see local made garments and souvenir shops around.
Note: If the weather is not permissible and the flight from Gilgit to Islamabad is cancelled,we then have to travel by land to Islamabad withone stop at Besham and continue the journey the next day.
Overnight in Besham
DAY 09 –Islamabad –Peshawar – (B/L/D)
Today you will have chance to explore the capital city, this will include visit of Faisal Mosque, the largest Mosque in Pakistan.
Pakistan Monument– the petal–shaped granite structure reflecting history, culture and unity of the provinces of Pakistan.
Transfer to airport 3 hours prior to your flight’s departure.

Visas:
We do not arrange Pakistan visas directly. We will provide visa support in the form of letters of invitation to assist in your Pakistan visa application.
Food:
We include three meals every day in our tours. We know some great places and will also happily show you some of our favorite restaurants and tea houses. Some are luxurious, some are earthier but all have character. However, when restaurants are unavailable, we ensure that food is provided.
Accommodation:
We do not and cannot offer a uniform accommodation standard on our itineraries. Even if we wanted to, the reality is that standards in Islamabad cannot be compared to guesthouse in the mountain region. We consider comfort, location, design, character, historical interest and whether the money we spend will go into the pockets of the local community when we make our choices of where to stay.

When we choose our vehicles and drivers we take into consideration the road conditions, the length of journey and the competence of the man behind the wheel.
